Sellfy Review (2026) – Good for Print on Demand?

Is Sellfy any good? If you are a creator such as a YouTuber or Blogger that is looking for a platform to allow you to sell different types of products on one platform, then Sellfy is definitely worth checking out.

This is because it is one of the few platforms that allows you to sell digital, physical, subscription and print-on-demand on one site without the need to use third-party companies and this combined with a very easy-to-use admin area and a good website builder makes it an appealing option.

The main downside with Sellfy is the small annual turnover limits, especially considering the price of the plans and we would also like to see more SEO tools on offer.

The prices listed above are if you pay for your plans monthly but they do offer pretty significant discount of 25% if you pay yearly.

If you exceed $200k in sales in a year, then you move on to custom pricing, which is based on your business’s requirements.

When paid for over longer periods, Sellfy is quite reasonably priced and they don’t charge any additional transaction fees but the annual sales limits are quite small, which isn’t ideal.

They do offer a 14-day free trial that allows you to test them out before committing to a paid plan.

Ecommerce Tools

One of the main ecommerce features that Sellfy offers is the different types of product you can sell through one platform, without the need for integrations with third-party companies or software, this includes:

  • Digital Products – such as ebooks, video, audio and music
  • Video Streaming – if you have videos you don’t want to be accessed publicly, you can stream them through Sellfy
  • Physical Products – sell physical products of your choice
  • Subscriptions – create a digital subscription that can be billed weekly, monthly or yearly
  • Print-on-Demand – Sellfy has its own built-in Print-on-demand business that allows you to sell customized products

Sellfy also allows users to embed products on other websites, so if you have an existing blog or website, you can simply add the Sellfy buy button or product listing to your site to start selling.

Sellfy also makes it easy to collect VAT for sales in the UK & EU as they have an easy-to-use system that can automatically apply the correct rate based on the customers country, it also lets you create reports so that you know how much you need to pay to the respective authorities (Sellfy doesn’t do that part for you).

Sellfy Marketing Tools

To generate sales on your ecommerce website, you are going to need a selection of tools to not only get customers to your site but also encourage them to buy, so what does Sellfy offer?

  • Affiliate Program (Business or Premium plans) – built-in affiliate program to help you manage affiliate partners and sales
  • Discount Codes – you can choose to create discount coupons that offers specific discounts or create a sale on certain products
  • Email Marketing – a built-in email marketing tools that allow you to create custom emails and automated ones for things like abandoned carts
  • Tracking Pixels – add Facebook and Twitter (X) pixels to your ad campaigns to track their performance
  • Upselling – increase order values by offering upsells to customers

One area where Sellfy is lacking is SEO but as this platform is targeted towards creators who probably have strong social media followings, this probably isn’t much of an issue.

Sellfy Payment Gateways

Sellfy is quite limited when it comes to payment options but fortunately, they do offer the two most popular options:

  • PayPal
  • Stripe

This allows you to take a variety of credit and debit card payments and should be enough for most users.

Sellfy Shipping Options

As Sellfy is also for physical products, they do have some basic shipping options, which includes:

  • Flat Rate Shipping – a single shipping price for all orders or set it to free
  • Order Weight – shipping rate based on the weight of the order

Unfortunately, they don’t offer any integrations for shipping providers, so you will need to process shipping yourself.

Sellfy Reporting & Analytics

Sellfy offers a selection of analystics that includes:

  • Number of visitors
  • Number of purchases
  • Conversion rate
  • Revenue
  • Traffic sources and where they are located

This gives you a good insight into how your store is performing and you can also see what your top performing products are.

Sellfy Website Builder

Sellfy can be used in one of two ways, it can be embedded into existing websites using the buy button or you can use it to build an online store and the website builder is pretty good, even if it is a little basic.

Sellfy Theme Selection

Sellfy only offers a small selection of 6 themes that you can choose from, with each theme having it’s own little design differences.

Even though the selection is very small, the themes are well designed and make a good base for customization.

Sellfy Theme Customization

The Sellfy customizer is pretty simple but allows for easy customization of your store and the live drag and drop builder allows you to:

  • Add, remove and reorganize sections of the page
  • Layout options for the header and footer
  • Edit the layout of all pages including product, category and checkout pages
  • Edit theme style including colors, fonts, logo and favicon

Overall, the customizer is really easy to use and offers a lot of customization options, including a good selection of sections to help create custom pages and make your store look different to every other Sellfy website.

Sellfy Pages

The customizer allows you to create custom pages for your store and includes some templates to help get you started and all the modules that can be used on the home or products pages can be used for your custom pages.

The only downside with Sellfy is the lack of a built-in blog, which could be a really helpful tool for content creators.

Sellfy Support

Sellfy support is limited to email support, which can be accessed by clicking on the help icon in the dashboard that appears like a live chat box but it is just for submitting an email.

When you first sign up, you can schedule a demo video call with one of the team, which is a nice touch and they do offer a good selection of documentation, many of which include videos showing how things can be done.

Web Hosting

There isn’t a great deal of information about Sellfy’s hosting environment and we could only find that:

  • They offer a free SSL certificate for custom domains
  • They are PCI-DSS-ready

So they are secure for payments, which is the important thing you need to know but other than that, we don’t know much about what they offer in terms of hosting.

How Easy is Sellfy to Use?

Features are one thing but how easy a platform is to use is extremely important, especially as Sellfy is targeted at creators who are usually very busy people who want their chosen platform to make their life easier, so how does Sellfy fair?

Getting Started with Sellfy

Getting started with Sellfy is super simple as all you need is:

  • Your first name
  • Your email address
  • Create a password

You will then be taken through the onboarding process that asks for your store name, what you are going to be selling and your niche as this helps them customize the experience for you and your business.

It really is as simple as that and once you have completed the onboarding process, you will be taken through to the admin dashboard and are greeted by a short but helpful setup guide that prompts you to:

  1. Add a Product
  2. Customize Your Store
  3. Connect a Payment Gateway

Basically, all the steps you need to start getting your store set up and getting you used to the platform but it would be nice to see an additional guide to getting your store ready to go live.

Outside of the setup guide, the dashboard is very easy to use and well laid out. The main sidebar navigation menu is well-labeled and as a whole, it is very easy to navigate around

The only thing we would like to see added is a customize option for your store as this can only be accessed through the dashboard homepage.

Inventory Management

Adding New Products

Adding a new product with Sellfy comes in two steps, step 1 is to select the type of product you want to sell from the list of:

  • Digital Product
  • Print on demand
  • Subscription
  • Physical Product
  • Freebie

The reason why you are asked to choose is that the add new product pages are all slightly different and tailored to that product type.

The digital, physical, subscription and freebie add new product pages all have a similar feel to them in terms of design (such as the add new physical product page in the image below), with the differences being the sections that you need to fill out.

And all of these add new product pages are very easy to use, the only one that is a bit more challenging is for the Print on demand product as you need to go through the process of creating the product such as choosing the product type, uploading the design etc but it is still a relatively easy process.

Organizing Your Inventory

Organizing your inventory in Sellfy is pretty simple as you can create product categories, the only negative is that it doesn’t allow you to create sub-categories, which isn’t ideal but you can do a work with the site navigation menu.

Managing Your Inventory

For physical products, you can set inventory levels but unfortunately, you can’t manage these in bulk once the product has been created, you need to do this on a product by product basis and this isn’t ideal if you have a large number of product listings.

Order Management

Sellfy’s order management is ok and you can export order invoices as PDF’s in bulk and you can export invoice information in CSV format, which can be really helpful if you are using third-party to help you manage shipping for physical products.

Is Sellfy Any Good?

Yes, we do like Sellfy as a platform as it is easy to use and offers a good selection of features for creators.

The main thing we like about Sellfy is the different types of products you can sell as there aren’t many other platforms that offer the ability to sell digital products and print-on-demand through one site without having to use any additional platforms or software.

We also liked how easy to use Sellfy was from creating products to customizing your store but there are definitely some areas that could be improved such as some bulk tools for physical products.

The main negative we have with Sellfy is the annual turnover limits as they are quite small when compared to the monthly cost of the platform. The other notable negative is the lack of SEO tools.
